A tree that commemorates the history of an extraordinary man - Edward Gursztyn.
The variety Liriodendron tulipifera 'Edward Gursztyn' PBR.

Since the mother plant has the shape of a rounded bush, it was necessary to find out what it would look like when grafted onto the trunk. It turned out that the stem form is much more attractive than the bushy form. The crown is dense and almost perfectly spherical. "

Is the Liriodendron 'Edward Gursztyn' frost-resistant? Yes. As proven in practice, even young plants withstand frosts down to -30°C, and older plants even -32°C to -35°C.
The diameter of the crown after 15 years is about 2 m. The leaves, typical for tulip trees, are smaller than those of the species, green, yellow in autumn.

'Edward Gursztyn' looks elegant when planted solitary or in a row, in a garden or public greenery. In a large container, it's an interesting decoration of the terrace.

The variety won gold medals in competitions at the exhibitions Green is Life 2010, Gardenia 2012, Plantarium 2013.

Since June 2011, Liriodendron tulipifera 'Edward Gursztyn' PBR is protected in the European Union, and its reproduction without the breeder's consent is prohibited. Fortunately, it is now available in our offer. Write to us to find out about the terms of the license purchase.
